How to eradicate corruption in the country

The persons who offered the bribe and who accepted the same are equally responsible for corruption. Therefore, the punishment should also be severe on both sides.

If the person who offered the bribe is prosecuted irrespective of his political or financial status, duly confiscating the benefit derived through bribe, people wont dare to encourage corruption. The charged person should not be allowed for continuing his office or post unless proved not guilty.

The people who supports the corruption and pleads for the discharge of accused, should also be involved in the charge sheet. While the person charged with corruption should be disqualified in all political and public offices aspects, and the amount or disproportionate assets identified as illegal should be attached and confiscated to government immediately.

But it is not so easy to eradicate this sort of chronic disease spread all over the country. The very pitiable thing is the rule makers are also the rule breakers. Unfortunately the culprits, who are the defaulters of huge amount of bank loans (intended only to middle class people )are being protected by the rulers. Even if the legal action is initiated ,the defaulters are being charged under the same Law with a common pilferer.

Main Reasons to run away from the recent multilevel investment influx.

Multilevel marketing business is not a new business concept in the world. It is an old long business concept.
However, the rate of the recent influx of the different multilevel business into the economy made me to put together this write-up.
Therefore, I am not going to start by explaining what a multilevel marketing is and all the elementary jargon. My concern is on the fact that, most of the recently established multilevel marketing business will not survive the test of time and many people are going to get their hand burn big time. So, before you become a victim, please  take note of these;

  • Tangible product or services.
Tangible product/services is what will drive the business on the long run. Any multilevel business without a services or product attached to the business will surely die untimely death.
There may be some members who may not survive on the networking, but such people will be able to make headway with the aid of selling the product and services.
I have heard of some multilevel business member says that, "we don't have any product in our own company", and that's what stand us out among others. Please go and make your findings if there is any multilevel business that has survive for five years without any good product or services.Therefore, don't be carried away. Be warned!

  • Invisible company
Can you point to the company's business location? I wouldn't want to start mentioning the name of many multilevel business that you can not trace to a particular office location today, yet people are falling on top of each other to registered under them because of the supposedly mouth watering reward.

  • There is really no integrity and honesty
Integrity  is always the watch-ward of any multilevel business that has survive the test of time. Integrity, both in terms of the product, business plan and every other aspect of the business.
Today, many multilevel marketing company promises heaven and earth but end-up disappoint their members. Some of them will promise an unrealistic return on the investment, and many intending members also will not boarder to ask the type of business they are into where they expect such returns to be generated.
  • World figure perspective
The world is now a global village. Ask, can I sell or take the business beyond this country? If the perspective of the business is on a local realm, then there is already a seal on the extent of the growth of such business. There must be a payment and reward system that can be internationally accessible to everybody who wish to do any form of business with the company.

Simple approach to getting a good job during this recession.

It is no longer news that Nigeria economy is currently in recession, and this is not peculiar to Nigeria alone, many countries across the globe are experiencing the same. It is also a trend that may be on for a while. Some of the things that characterise an economy that is in recession is, company downsizing and people loosing their jobs. This means, getting a good job will become highly competitive. Considering the fact that, the job was even scarce when there was no recession.
However, some of the point stated bellow will surely give you an edge even in the face of scarce job.
  • Do what  others wouldn't want to do
The first thing is for you to be sincere with yourself. This is not the time for you to be thinking that some jobs are too small for you. You have to be realistic in your search. Even if it is just for the sake of having some experience, get ready to take that job which others will not want to take. Many young graduate are mentally lazy because of the taught they have been fed with while on campus.
An average graduate hate marketing job. They will rather want to be somewhere in front of computer, operating behind the scene. Meanwhile, many organisations are in  dire need of good marketer/sales person. And it could be very rewarding for anyone who can take the bull by the horn. This is because eighty percent of the business of every companies is in the hands of marketers/sales staff.
  • Develop passion for whatever job you find
Its just all about having passion for whatever you find your hand on and not what you actually study.
I know of someone who study Agriculture related course in the university, but due to lack of Agric related job, he eventually find himself in insurance selling. He is today a very senior manager in one of the notable insurance companies in the country. The secret of his success is quiet simple, he developed passion for that job he find himself doing and he is now very successful at it.
  • Change your mentality
Your mentality is a major determinant of what you can achievement in life. Many people are just looking for money without first thinking of the value they are to provide in exchange for the money. The mentality of always looking for money without any outstanding value you intend rendering for the organisation will get you to no where. Even if you are able to get a job with such mentality, you may no be able to keep such job for long.
Be sincere with yourself! So many people are looking for that same job with more excellent credentials. Therefore it goes beyond just credentials, the employers are looking for someone who can give them value they want in exchange for money.

How to make 2015 your best year

This write-up might be coming a bit late because of the fact that we have gone has far as the middle of the first month of the year. However, the year has just started and there is still more we can achieve before the end of this year. To make the year your most productive year, bellow are some of those things you must seriously consider.
Set Goals
The starting point of you being able to achieve anything worthwhile this year it to set goals for yourself. You have to set a goal that is SMART enough.
S=specific
M=measurable
A=Achievable
R=realistic
T=time bound
As simple as this may look, if your goals does not fulfil all this criteria it may be a bit hard for you to achieve. Therefore, not to just make your goal look like a mere wish. You have to seat down and carefully craft out what you want to achieve this year and action that needed  to be taken daily in order to achieve it.
Eliminate procrastination
Procrastination they said is the theft of destiny. Once you map out your action plan this year, don't let anything weigh you down from making move. There should be nothing like i'll do it tomorrow. You should set a daily action plan which have to be carry out, and makesure that nothing change those plan. It is also necessary that you have a way of measuring your progress on daily basis. With this, you are able to know where you are falling bellow your set target and how to go about redeeming those lost grounds.
Development yourself
If there is an area you can not afford to neglect this year as somebody that is desiring to make the year a successful one, it is your personal development. If you are equipped and prepared for the  task ahead, there is every tendency that you will approach it in such a way that not so much time will be wasted.

Why Nigeria Military are not winning the war against Boko Haram.

This is quit unfortunate, and it also show the level of corruption within the Nigeria system.
A cnn reporter currently granted interview to some of the military men at those part of Nigeria under the insurgent attack. There the secret was revealed that they even have to buy the uniform they are using. Another one stated that the Boko Haram are well equipped with sophisticated equipment more than they( Nigeria military) and even well outnumber the military.
A situation where the Nation military equipment is not as sophisticated as that of a mere sect. Then I ask myself, if this country is truly ready to fight the insurgency or we are just there deceiving ourself.

The Fact about Ebola virus.

The Ebola Virus Disease is the enemy knocking at the door of many West African countries and its effects are fast spreading.

Unlike other viruses, such as the Hepatitis A, B,C, which can stay in the body fluids of an infected person for 15 years without any symptoms, the Ebola virus, which symptoms include bleeding from the mouth and anus, can kill its victims within days .

A professor of Epidemiology and Community Health Sci-ence, University of Ilorin, Kwara State, Tanimola Akande, describes the Ebola virus, which is ravaging Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia and has killed a nurse in Nigeria, as the biggest health challenge facing the sub region at present.

Akande says that its mode of transmission is a major reason why it is deadlier than most viruses.

He says, "That Ebola has no cure is not the reason why it is deadly.HIV also has no cure, yet it does not kill all its victims, if it is properly managed. Ebola is deadlier because it is easy to contract; it is in all the body fluids of an infected individual as its infection can be through saliva, blood, sweat, sperm, excreta, body tissue. It can also be contracted by touching the surface an infected person has touched."

"Also, the natural host for Ebola is fruit bats, chimpanzees and other forest animals that many eat daily in different parts of the country. You can get it just by coming in contact with the blood of an infected animal. Any virus that can be contracted through food has the potential to wipe off many lives."

The physician, who says that Ebola virus has very tricky symptoms, which often mimic that of common illness, such as malaria, dengue, lassa and typhoid fever, notes that many health workers may have already come in contact with an infected patient without knowing it.

He adds, "When a patient comes to your hospital and presents you with symptoms, such as fever, headache, general body pain, you are likely not to wear gloves or biohazards suits before treating the patient. That is the tricky part. You are infected before you know it is Ebola."

To contain the transmission of the disease, Akande urges Nigerians to stop eating bush meat, as well as to wash their hands and fruits regularly before eating.

He also advises health workers to wear protective kits always while attending to their patients.

Akande states, "We have been talking about HIV/AIDS, but Ebola is deadlier than HIV/AIDS. People who have HIV live for years if they take their drugs but any contact with an infected Ebola person is almost a death sentence because the virus has no vaccines, and no drugs. The best one can get is only palliative management".

Ebola is the nightmare virus. It is feared as the second coming of the plagues of the 1400s. Why is this one virus so much more deadly than other viruses? Simply put, experts list five reasons why everyone must watch out for this virus.

Low survival rates

The chance of survival is almost zero, especially in Africa. It kills 90 per cent of those infected with the virus. Death is certain if the patient starts bleeding. Bleeding, of course, is its "trademark".

From a medical point, any one that contracts this disease should be isolated -to wait for death! It is sad! It kills faster than AIDS, and in an equally dramatic way. Because of its mode of transmission, you cannot bury dead patients in the usual way -- patients, dead or alive, are absolutely avoided! Dead bodies are equally infectious.

It is almost incurable.

The problem is that there is no drug yet for treatment or vaccine for prevention. Four different viruses cause this disease. At least, we have some drugs for HIV/AIDS patients, to help them live longer and better. The treatment offered for Ebola Virus Disease is for the person to die better and more peacefully. The vaccines we have can only prevent monkeys and mice from the disease! Antivirals do not work.

It is highly contagious

HIV/AIDS requires blood transmission or intimate contact for transmission; this disease requires contact with body. Transmission is by coming in contact with body fluids from diarrhea, vomitting, and bleeding. Doctors and medical staff attending to the patients wear protective kits from head to toe, making them look like astronauts heading for the moon! HIV is highest among commercial sex workers and gays; the people with the highest risk of Ebola Viral Disease are medical workers, their families, and their friends. Hunters that encounter monkeys and bats, and marketers of bush-meats should be careful.

No definite way to protect yourself

There is ABC of HIV/AIDS prevention. There are ways of preventing malaria. But preventing Ebola Virus Disease is not specific or clear-cut. You are advised to wash your hands frequently with soap and water, avoid contact with infected people (and their secretions and blood), and avoid contact with objects contaminated by infected people. Prevention is by hygiene!....

How To Protect Yourself From Ebola

It is no more news that Ebola virus is now the fastest killer in town, and the only way to go about it is to protect yourself from the deadly virus. As the says goes, "prevention is better than cure".
Bellow as some of the lifestyle one can adopt in order to reduce the risk of being infected.
1. Wash your hand with soap and water or an alcohol based hand sanitizer.
2. Wear gloves, a mask and a long protective gown if coming within e meter of an infected patient.
3. Avoid direct contact with bodily fluids of someone suffering from Ebola or already deceased from it.
4. Avoid eating bat, monkeys or other bush meat(at least for now)
