Fifa has just released the latest rank of the football playing countries in the whole world. 'think its interesting to see this new ranking even as the world cup approaches.
Imagine a team in number 45 of the latest ranking happened to be in the same group with a team in number 6. I think there is going to be a lot of surprises during this coming world cup. Atlanta 96 Olympic is still very fresh in my memory and i know the situation can actually repeat itself. Football is full of surprises, and it will be very interesting to witness those surprises.
I also feel that this rating may not actually be enough for a team to start rejoicing about because it is only based on some past statistics, and we all knows that game changes. That's what even make football to be different and interesting out of all other game.
Anyway, lets just keep our fingers cross and watch events at it unfold.
